The Trials of Creation

The first thing I'm going to say is that if any of you call me a deity, I will personally turn you into a coffee table.

Next on the agenda is the identity of the being who has been posting anonymous comments on vrious blogs while Lucia and I have been in Foster.

It is a Promethean: a sentient, living being crafted from clay, animated by magic.  Yes, I made it.  Please look again at the first sentence of this entry.

I call it 'it' because it is as basic as a self-aware being can be.  It has no sense of uniqueness, no identity beyond self-existence, not even a sense of gender or name.  It is a complete blank, and I wish for it to develop naturally.  It is also learning language, which is why it refers to me as 'him' and Lucia as 'her', often incorrectly.

I created it so that there would be someone who could venture out to post in Lucia and my place.  Imagine my lack of surprise when Lucia proceeds to post in person anyway.  I swear at times she is trying to make me die early, and yet.

I expect that the Promethean will be posting for me for a time, as Tony and I are taking a trip to our town to check in with his girlfriend.  Tony hasn't been able to get in touch with her, and knowing the kind of world we live in, this is concerning.  I expect us to be back in two days maximum, and Lucia knows how to activate some of my glyphs in case of emergency.  I will check in when I return.

I'm not trying to kill you, dear~. I just make life interesting. =)

Don't worry, I'll take good care of Foster while you guys head back to redacted-land. It's not like the place makes Fort Knox look like a pushover (and the booby traps make Indiana Jones look like a little girl....)

And on a sappy note?

I miss you already, and you've been gone for like an hour. Dairam is not nearly as huggable as you are.

this isn't as surprising as it should be.

Do you guys know what happened to Theo and Rose? Its been three days, aside from that disturbing comment on haunting.
